Mr. Prafulla Deo is an Electrical Engineer and a Gold Medalist of BITS Pilani and holds a Masters Degree in Power Systems Engineering. He is known as the Father of the ElectroMagnetic Motor Starting Industry in India and one of the prominent personalities in the Motor Starting Industry in the World with a experience of more than 45 Years in Motor Starting and ElectroMagnetics. He is a holder of a US, European, Australian and Indian Patent for Dynamic Fault Current Limiter (DFCL)

He has experience in Starting of more than 10000 MW of High,Medium and Low Voltage Motors in more than 150 different applications across all industry domains.

He was the founder of M/s Innovative Technomics in 1983, the pioneer organization in the Motor Starting Industry in India. Under Duress, he was forced to leave the company upon which, he started M/s DEM ENTERHUB in 2011 and has since then developed next Generation Soft Starters with Starting Current as low as 1 p.u IFL with several high profile installations Globally.

He has published a technical paper in the International Symposium for Fault Current Limiters in Texas A&M University in 2006. He was also on the International team for new developments in Current Limiting applications headquartered in Geneva.

He is a continual guide for M/s DEM ENTERHUB, TECHIUS and M/s Innovative Technomics Europe for their respective design and development activities as well as for critical Motor Starting Applications.
